Sit Stay Dog School is proudly owned and operated by Tracy Everitt, a dedicated full-time trainer since 2010. Tracy finds immense joy in her work, believing it is incredibly rewarding to be a part of the journey that families embark on when introducing a new puppy or dog into their lives.

Tracy uses positive reinforcement during training, a method scientifically proven to be both effective and humane. This approach not only strengthens the bond between dogs and their guardians but also promotes lasting behavioural improvements.

Tracy is a member of several prestigious professional organisations, including APDT, IAABC, and PPG. She frequently attends seminars, conferences, and workshops to ensure she remains at the cutting edge of behavioural science.

With a robust scientific background, Tracy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Animal Science from Massey University in New Zealand. Her early career saw her working as a field biologist with WILDCRU at Oxford University, where she conducted research on primate behaviour in captive environments. Tracy’s expertise spans multiple species, having worked with wolves, bears, and even sled dogs in the Arctic.

Ongoing education is paramount to Tracy, ensuring she continues to deliver the highest quality training services, helping both dogs and their guardians live harmoniously.
